Pattern: BALOUCH

Small Balouch - NEW SIZE

Small Balouch – NEW SIZE

Nomadic Balouch are known for somber, tightly woven saddle bags, wool kilims and other useful objects. Balouch women weave their objects on ground looms – like cross-point™ kits – they are easily transported from camp to camp. Kilim type patterns are a lot of fun to stitch and can be addictive! This is especially true for our Balouch Pattern – everybody just “loves” stitching this design! With snowy and very cold weather across our country, this is a wonderful stitching project this winter.

Available in 5 sizes: Rectangles: lumbar (“good for your back”) pillows, 21×17″ and 18×13″; a small rug 28″ wide by 48″ long (ideal size to throw over an ottoman); a small insert to add to a pillow center 7 1/4″ wide by 11″ high; a long border 80″ x 7 1/4″ wide that fits beautifully over a large wing chair or upholstered loveseat, sofa, or across the foot of a bed. All of these are shown on the web page at cross-point.com and can be had in all 7 colors shown. And, as with all our kits, we offer custom colors. The pattern lends itself as well for upholstery of stools, ottomans, chair seats, even headboards, and the discount is included in the special offer this month. On the website (and in the photo below) we show an ottoman with custom borders around 4 sides. An entire room color scheme can be easily created around this fabulous pattern.
