In addition to our traditional historic patterns, cross-point.com offers several designs in contemporary and modern styles. By definition, MODERN designs have clean, straight lines without additional details, are generally crisp and spare. Take for example my TRIANGLES pattern. With acorns as shown below, it looks both traditional and contemporary in certain colors but the black and white version without acorns fits the description of  MODERN beautifully.
