Cross-point.com is 30 years old this year. Thirty years ago I was so proud to introduce to fellow stitchers a whole new way to stitch needlepoint. My first collection published in the 1998 Catalog contained 10 pages of a Master Catalog of 28 patterns, available in up to four colors. We now offer 55 patterns in multiple sizes and with as many as five to ten color choices. And, we added many rugs and hangings, offered custom colors and our collaboration to convert patterns to upholstery.
A great deal has changed in our world since 1995. But, rather than be frightened by all that is going on in the larger and our own local world, let a cross-point kit or two bring you a time of silence and peace. It’s magical.

As many of you have discovered, my cross-point technique is uniquely suitable for upholstery. Cross-stitch makes for a solid surface. Stitching on soft jute rather than stiff canvas, allows for easy shaping to fit your furniture piece. Just a few examples of custom cross-point needlepoint upholstery below. Kit Contents
Everything you need is included in every kit – jute, wool, needles, charts, Technique Sheets with sample cross stitches, individual instructions for every pattern, Finishing Instructions, and all updates on preparing the jute. Additionally, we have videos on YouTube with links on the website ABOUT page.
