KILIM & MOROCCO STRIPE
OFFERING TWO NEW COLOR SCHEMES
I thought it might be fun to put together a variety of schemes that are based on a taupe scheme for basic furniture pieces. Because my background includes training in interior design, I tend to visualize my pillows and rugs in room settings and as possible starting points for pulling together an overall color scheme.
This month we introduce two NEW color options for our popular patterns – KILIM and MOROCCO STRIPE. As you can see in the photo above, both schemes are based on taupe and oatmeal as basic room colors. Adding Siena rust tile color with either Kilim color 09 or Morocco Stripe color 10, plus upholstered pieces or extra throw pillows in the rust color, can complete the scheme.
The beauty about accessories – pillows in particular – is that they can easily be changed with the seasons or our mood. Depending on your own basic color for major upholstered pieces, this concept can be used and adjusted directly from our website. If you have a favorite pattern in the cross-point collection (and I know many of you do), we list companion patterns for pillows for every design. Send me an email (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you would like some help with a color scheme based on your favorite color combinations using any of the above shown patterns.
Morocco Stripe color 10 is available in 5 pillow kit sizes. Please visit the website to see all. One of our very first patterns, Kilim, and still one of the most popular, is available as a large 22″ square, or a smaller 18″ square, as well as the “good for your back” lumbar pillow, and, 4 additional sizes, including the popular rug. The rug size is perfect on top of tables or large chests.
I hope this article inspires you to create the same or similar scheme using Morocco Stripe and/or Kilim. The same patterns in other colors are also available as a Special Offer if you submit your own color scheme. If you prefer the teal scheme shown at the top, this offer also applies. Please use the email shown above to notify me. As you know, PayPal bills the retail price and we issue the credit back when we fill your order in house.
Happy Stitching in November,
